I was just looking for some video of great backstroke technique for swim clinic I’m giving and stumbled across some footage of Krisztina. Amazing! And then I read a little about her and found out she won the 200m back three Olympics in a row. Absolutely fantastic.

Hallo Krisztina! Du bist mein grosses Vorbild! Meine Name ist Kim und ich bin 9 Jahre alt. Ich lebe in Deutschland. Ich schwimme hier bei SV Rhenania Köln. Ich hoffe das ich mal so schwimmen werde wie Du. Meine Trainerin sagt ich könnte das schaffen.

| i just want to say that she’s the greatest swimmer of our times, and the most beautiful woman and champion of the last twenty years. she will remain also an example for all the swimmers because of her big humility and strenght. |

| i’m half hungarian half austrian, and i always admired krisztina egerszegi for her accomplishments. i fondly remember visiting my relatives in hungary and cheering for krisztina. just wanted to find out what happened to her lately. good to see she’s now living the family life. |
