 The origins of the tarot are shrouded in mystery, but the cards were well established in
Europe by the late 14th century.
The Tarot pack is made up of a total of 78 cards, 56 known as the minor arcana and 22 as the major arcana, from the Latin word “arcanus”, which means “secret”.
The minor arcana is divided into four suits - Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles.
The cards in the major arcana are also known as the trumps.

Sorry Mandy this spread is not available at the moment but Loretta can do the celtic cross and may offer it at a later date.
The celtic cross is probably one of the best known ways of laying out the tarot cards, and is said to be ancient. A E Waite, who directed the designs of the tarot deck named after him at the beginning of the century expressed strong approval of the spread. It is certianly a good, reliable method to use when you want to answer a specific question.

Hi Mark. yes the spread in qustion was the celtic cross. One of my m8’s had this done by a reader in blackpool. If not its ok but could you or loretta tell me more about the celtic cross spread?
