I was at praise in the park with my church group!! we all had a blast.. a few of us went down to the stage and we had to fight our way through.. it was worth it! eventhough there were MILLIONS  of ppl there it was still fun! i cant wait to see who will be coming next year! I THANK GOD FOR SENDING THEM OUR WAY... it was such a blessing. if you wasnt there you missed out on alot of great things.. Our church would like to thank Casting Crowns, 33 Miles, and the other ppl performing!

What an amazing day!! I was there with my two daughters, my best friend, half of my church and some friends of my youngest daughter from college. (The "game" kept my husband at home)
Who knew there would be so many people? We did! I have paid a lot more money to see just Casting Crowns and went a lot farther too.
I would like to offer a suggestion. Actually my oldest daughter came up with it and I thought it was brilliant.
When the vendors arrive to set up, give them how many drinks they think they will sell, let them pay for the drinks they purchase from the Praise in the Park booth. Charge them what you sell them for, they will just be selling them for you and the line for drinks will not be so congested. If you could actually get your drink when you got your food it would all go a lot smoother. During the course of the day, they come back to you at a separate location from where you are just selling drinks to the customers and get more drinks and take them back to their booth to sell with their food. You would probably sell more drinks in the long run because a lot of people left the line without buying because they got discouraged/disgruntled. Whattayathink? It just might work. That was the only thing we saw that could be improved on. Everything else was great.
Everyone involved in the event itself was very nice and helpful and professional.
Thank you for letting us in on a little known secret known as Lucedale. We did a little shopping on Main Street before the gates opened and loved the little shops.
Thanks again for a wonderful day and for all the people that worked so hard to make it a reality. We will be back! We are already planning to have a booth next year.
