I would like to be placed on your mailing list-----I want to go to one of your pow wows very soon----I’ve been hearing much about them for long time now. Please feel free to send me any info regarding upcoming events---I especially would like info on any hotels/motels in the area of Susex county--Augusta NJ--for your upcoming Heritage Celebration.

I love the redhawk powwows! i go to almost every one! I would like to be put on a mailing list. For the dancers who dance, do they need to present the MC and Judges or whoever is at the registration table a TA card (Tribal Affiliation). Last question, do need a TA card to win cash prizes?

I was awed by the festival in Brooklyn last June 7, 2009. This should be done more often preferably in areas very accesible for everybody to enjoy. I suggest that you do a cultural show in New York City perhaps in Madison Square Garden, Radio City or Central park where a lot of people will enjoy the rich cultural heritage of the native Americans.CONRATULATIONS !!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful assembly you gave to the children at our school. (BSS - with Mr.O’Farrell) It is so important that our children learn the correct history and culture of Native American people. Education and exposure are key to understanding and respect, and I know that all really enjoyed and appreciated your visit. I remember from childhood that my maternal grandmother in Quebec was descended from Native people, but no one in the family kept a record. It makes me sad that they lost that connection to the past.
Thank you again.

We always look forward to the POW WOW’s here in NY. We go to the one in the Queens Farm. What about the one in Flushing Meadows Park? Is not listed on the 2009 Schedule. Love the culture and everything about it. Would like to receive mailing. Keep it up.

STORYTELLING IS COMMON TO MANY CULTURES. WHILE VISITING LITTLE BIG HORN MEMORIAL IN MONTANA IN 2006 I WAS ESCORTED OUT BY CAR FROM A NATIVE AMERICAN YOUNG WOMAN. IT WAS MYSTICAL. IT WAS SURREAL. HER FACE, HER DRESS AND HER AURA STILL VISIT ME TODAY. FROM THE BEADS AROUND HER NECK TO THE BRAIDED PONYTAILED HAIR I STILL WONDER WHY I AM STILL VISITED BY HER SPELL. I WANT TO KNOW THE MEANING AND YET KNOW THE MEANINGS. HER SPIRIT WANTS ME NEVER TO FORGET WHAT HAPPENED AT LITTLE BIG HORN AND MY RELATIONSHIP TO IT AS A NATIVE AMERICAN FRIENDLY WHITEMAN.

I got your flyer from a friend and was hoping to see when you’ll be having a Pow Wow in Brooklyn again? I enjoyed the one at the Army Base several years ago in Shore Road and I’m looking forward to attending another one... You can email me to the email address above, thank you...
