Hello,
I attended the Pow Wow at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in July. I really love the drumming and want to find a CD with drumming like that. I found some on Amazon but nothing that sounded as good. Can someone recommend a CD that has drumming similar to what I heard at the Pow Wow? I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks.

The dancers are there to contest, they’re not there for your enjoyment. How would you feel if they wanted a picture of a caucasian person for their photo album? Strange, huh? Just put yourself in their shoes-moccasins.
Also, it’s always polite to ask if it’s okay to take their picture.

While my family and me have enjoyed for many years going to your pow wows we were surprised that when it came to taking pictures one person from the Shinecock reservation was telling people $5.00 to take a picture with him. I find this out of character since never has anyone charged for taking a picture, if this was an excuse because he doesn’t like taking pictures he should not even attend. Thank you. He knows who he is we know hi8m by name but I won’t publish it here.
