Thank you very much for taking the time to put this website together. I have to do an assignment on Frederick Fleet, and it has already proven to be useful. Keep up the great work.

A very comprehensive site.Thank you for taking the time to put it all together.I especially liked the "radio" section. If those early operators could see the way we do things now they wouldn’t believe it.What? Morse code obsolete, impossible!!
Thanks again.

I am 71 years old, in most of my life I had the deepest sad feeling of Great Ship, The Royal Mail Ship Titanic, and how sad it was she did’nt live a good life, but her sister ship Olimpic were born together and she had made a lot of voyages back and forth to New York, City, but Titanic was getting closs to United States, but one small thing that killed her was a pair of binocular’s which was miss placed and it wasn’t with the two men up in the crows nest. If they had them they could have seen the iceburg, and had time to warn the duty officer down in the bridge next to the helm so he can warn the helmsman iceburg straight ahead so the helmsman can turn hard to starboard the ship to miss the iceburg, and all of what she went through would not ever happen to her and all on board, plus all that 150 mail bags on board for New York will be there, plus all that cargo and automobiles will be there, plus 1523 lives will be alive, even my 4th Cousin too. His job was down in the boiler room with all 29 boilers pluss 5600 tons of coal to help keep the ship going back and forth of New York. My grandparents were in their late 20’s of age and had a dear friend on a business whom is in his late 20’3 too in Irland where the ship was built. He heard about the Titanic will be makeing her maiden voyage on 10 April 1912. My father was year and one half old when Titanic went down 15 April 1912, funny, my brother’s birthday is 15 April 1938, same date when the Great Ship went to her death. My cousin was intermed in the Titanic Fairview Cememtary grave stone 268, identity Fireman, he was 28 years old, my Grandfather was 29 and Grandmother 26 years old. When the Titanic went down by the Bow, plus broken apart between third and forth funnel. well this friend of my Grandparents friend jump ship, and got home in Greenville, Michigan. Then he went to my Grandparents house to see them, at the door the didn’t know whom he was, but the voice they know he was. The ask of what happen. He said if they heard about the Titanic, and he told them he jump ship, and his body chemistrey did a job on him, he went from a body of 20 years to a body of over 45 years old. This is why I love the ship and feel so sorry for her too. So today my bedroom looks like a museum because of all the things I have in there, even a model of the ship. Also I have a chunk of her coal too. Dasaufwiedersehen, Mr. Aldon L. Marsh
