30. alcatrazs innocent inmate - 2012-03-31 02:44:09 |
I had a dream last night.
in my dream I was on the TITANIC and we were beginning to
sink and everytime the ice cold damn water would hit some
one who was still inside the ship I would be like oh man
why does this have to happen?
then the next thing I knew I was in the water cause for
some reason I was not in a lifeboat and I was watching the
ship which was sticking out of the water and then the lights
went out forever and I could actually feel the ice cold
water that was numbing my feet and everything else it was
just horrible.
I could hear the screaming and remembering that there was
still innocent poor and rich people still on the ship that
just wanted to go to america and still live their lives was
heartbreaking like damn it why couldnt they have filled the
lifeboats up more then they did?
(there were boats that were filled with just three people
can you believe that three people insane!)
and then panting hard in fear and twitching I couldnt take
anymore so I just bolted out of my dream and sat up in bed
I wasnt sweating or anything but man it was awful then I got
a little emotional later on..which was a second later and I
actually wanted to rub my feet to warm them up so after I
calmed down I covered up with the blankets and drifted off
to sleep the feeling still with me.
so yeah I might not of cared about the people who died later
on but now that I was on the ship in a dream and couldnt make
it to a boat I just wanted to say to everyone who died on
that cursed ship and everyone who made it out alive you were
in danger and had nobody to help cause that damn ship that
was nearby wouldnt come for you im sorry I had no idea it
was that bad.
this dream is in deep memorial of everyone who died that
night and everyone who survived that awful cold freezing ice
covered night.
rest in peace people and innocent victims who never did
anything wrong..rest in peace.

my granddad Archibald Currie D.C.M. British Calvery as a teen was an apprentice machinest in the Belfast ship yards. Many years ago he told me about operating a huge metal lathe turning a propeller shaft that was so long when he took lunch break he would leave the lathe running and take a run and jump over it as it took too long to walk around it!He worked on this shaft ,1 of 3 for over 1 year . He said it was the biggest wast of time he ever spent.I said why? He said the ship was the Titanic as iwas only 10 years old at the time(i959) i had never heard of the titanic!

| Thank you very much for taking the time to put this website together. I have to do an assignment on Frederick Fleet, and it has already proven to be useful. Keep up the great work. |

A very comprehensive site.Thank you for taking the time to put it all together.I especially liked the "radio" section. If those early operators could see the way we do things now they wouldn’t believe it.What? Morse code obsolete, impossible!!
Thanks again. |
