| My great-grandparents are William and Eva (Race) Pangburn from North Fenton, NY He fought in the Civil War, she was an American Indian. I have lots of photos, the Race family was alwso related to the Conrad family in Binghamton, NY. Any info would be great. Thanks. |

Greetings and thank you for this research!
My great-grandmother was Mercie Pangman Campbell. My mother has spoken about the family history she remembers, and I have been taking some time to sort through some of this.
James P. Campbell and Mercie Pangman had two children;
Muriel Campbell (twice married to two different Campbells)
Anne Elizabeth Campbell (married to to Arther Siegert Nelson)
Muriel had one son, James "Jimmy" Campbell. He was "adopted" by my grandparents after his mother’s death.
Anne had one daughter, Patricia Ann Nelson, b 3/9/1927 (she’s still with us!).
Pat married Jack Eugene Matthews and they had three children;
Bradley Campbell Matthews (son) b.7/31/1956
Kyle Lynn Matthews (daughter) b. 9/23/1963
Dana Leigh (Matthews) Ivey (daughter) b. 8/26/1965
Dana has three children;
Kaitlyn
Zachary
Lucas

I am married to Ronald Gene Mcgaffick, a descendant of Thomas McGaffick of Sarah Pangburn and Hezekiah Mcgaffick. Sarah’s parent was listed as Rachel Pangburn who married a McGrew and there was another daughter listed as Sarah McGrew who married a William Fields? I am confused on how there are two Sarahs from apparently one mother and the one does not carry her mother’s married name.

I’m researching the Fawcett family of McKeesport. Have information on Elizabeth Fawcett who emigrated to the US in 1841 and died 28 Oct. 1857 Green Springs, Braddock, Allegheny Co. PA. Where and what is Green Springs? Is there a cemetery in Green Springs? Anyone know where Elizabeth is resting?

My great-grandmother was Sophia Maria PANGBURN daughter of Stephen VanRensselaer PANGBURN and Lucy Ann VANAUKEN. Sophia
died at Parkers Corners in Albany, NY. Stephen’s father was
Joseph PANGBURN and mother was Nancy BEATY. They were all from
around the Albany area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
