| I am looking for information around Ella Lewis Pangborn, who married Byrd (Bird) Pangborn in 1885. She was born May 28, 1859 (or 1858). I’m also trying to track down information about her daughter Mrytle Pangborn Matheny, who was adopted at birth (1892) by John Banfill and his wife Elvira (who was suppose to be Ella’s 1/2 sister). Mrytle later rejoined the family in Everett, WA in 1910, at age 18. Looking for why she was given away, and what connect there is to Ella and Elvira. Elvira committed suicide in 1901 (when Mrytle was 9), yet Mrytle stayed with her adoptive family until she came of age. Any information greatly appreciated. Most happened around Baldwin Township Michigan, Pierson Township Michigan, and Kent County. |

I am researching my ancestor Rebecca Pangborn. She was born 28 May 1820 in either Middletown, Monmouth County or Stafford, Ocean County, New Jersey.
I need a cited source for her parents. Census records conflict with what I’ve been told to date. A Bible record would do, but I’ll need a copy of the original.
Thanks!
