My son has mental problems. They put him in solitary for a month now. They have beat him so badly. I went to see him 2/21/11 and his arms are black and blue. The knots showing through his hair. No one will help. He cries and screams for help. Who will listen? Who will care and help? Please tell me. I am here, I will stay here. Please call 830.637.0893

My name is Lindsey Wilhite and I worked for the Dallas County Sheriffs Department for 4 years. In the Academy they actually mentioned Sharif and referred to him as a liar and someone that got what he deserved. I do not know, I never met him. What I do know is that the county is corrupt and horrible things happened there. I reported everything I saw and nothing ever happened or came of it. I wrote a book, detailing everything I saw and how I was treated as an officer by my peers. It is in talks now to be made into a movie. I am about to re-release it with new information and updated articles. It can be found on amazon and lulu.

That is an article written in the dallas news about the book. If you have any stories you would like to include in the book, please email them to me. I am about to finalize the edit in the next few days, and feel free to include a cop of the link on your page if you like. The atrocities committed at the county have been covered up far to long.

I hate my job at Dallas county and I cant wait to get the fuck out of there. They want let us use our cell phones, but I use mine anyway. Fuck the captian and all the other high ranks up and through there. they can kiss my black ass for all i care. As soon as I find another job I am leaving.

It is nonsense what the probation board is doing to offenders of ALL walks. I am currently on probation right now for a crime I did commit, and I see people all the time in trouble for spanking there child. Some of those are sexual preditors, and there is no need for them to carry that label. That isn’t something that a person should have over their heads. I have that over my head. Another probationer is getting ready to go back to prison, and he was doing one thing he needed to while missing another thing that was just as important. the system says that offenders and ex-offenders have a distorted reality, but what about them? What makes them any better than "criminals"? The answer - they haven’t been caught yet.

I am appauled. The Dallas County staff, whether big or small, know what is going on in the jail, whether you are in holding or on an actual floor being housed there. It is ridiculous. I was in there for a week, and I know first hand, it is just sad. Looking back on the experience, I might as well have been a dog in a cage, (and I was just there for tickets!) I am NOT a criminal (repeatedly I might add) for felony convictions, did not have a "wrap sheet" long as a mile, and I was with child at the time. Now, don’t get me wrong, they do have a job to do, but everyone is NOT the same. (Shaking my head) Just sad. And what’s really bad about it, there are others that are worse off than I with condidtions and in need of medicine everyday and they almose NEVER get tended to. hmm, they are lucky if they get an officer that has responded with inmates beating on the doors of the cell.........Just sad......

im a regular vistor on Thursday at the Suzanne Kay Jail. Every time I go visit the DSO are playing, talking loud to each other and so forth. The problem is there is a long line out in the sun and people start to line up around 4;30pm to visit at 7pm. The lines are still long after 8pm. The DSOs are telling people after waiting for hours after 8;30pm no more visits. This is a big problem because they are playing instead of getting people in and out. Another thing my loved one is there with severe high blood pressure and the only thing the medical staff is doing s checking it and giving him medications. The medications is not working and no one is doing anything about it. Why has he not seen a medical doctor at Parkland or something. I have called several things to get no answers or call backs. Pls advise me of my next steps.

To non liberal American

Your user name says it all. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out you favored electric bleachers for mass executions.
