fantastic website! Have you done others? About 25 yrs ago I did similar for lots of memorials in Lincolnshire and eventually completed a listing of the graves of all the casualties of the Lincolnshire Territorials - the 4th & 5th. It was mainly thro the Cemetery Registers & when I really cdn’t find someone I’d phone up the CWGC & pretend to be related and when they sussed me, I’d bribe blokes in the pub to do the same. The one who gave me the biggest problems was Abraham THOMAS of the 2/5th. I had him down as Thomas Abraham. He was the only Territorial who had a link to Liverpool. Abt 10yrs ago I lost interest & threw everything away - most of the records were on the net. But of all things, yesterday I had to go for an eye test in Earle Road & saw a memorial o/s St Dunstans Church. Out came the camera. I’ve got a week off work but a lot of the memorial is in very poor condition. At least it’s closer than Lincolnshire. Keep up the good work!

best wishes

Eric Walter

Really fabulous website you have here. Herbert Cafferata was my Grandmother’s cousin and it’s nice to see him commemorated like this. I will see if I can dig up a photo to send to you if you would be interested.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Alana

Excellent Site!!!

Charles Wildgoose (Private 1990) The Kings, Liverpool Regiment was the brother of my Great Grand mother Mary Wildgoose. The family never knew anything about Mary as she died young.

To think I now have seen a photo and description of her brother Charles on your web site. fantastic!!!!!!!
