Having been born of a Serbian Orthodox father and paternal grandmother who both converted to the Catholic Church at his age of 17, and having sought for some time a Uniate Byzantine Parish to attend in the area, I am so happy to know St. Matthias and St. Louis Byzantine are here nearby. I hope to attend if I ever move the 50 miles to St. Louis from my tiny village of Kane, "in the Illinois boonies", or have a car to drive to the Byzantine Parishes of a Sunday Mass. And this site is truly beautiful! Thank you! I sent Fr. Selzer a personal e-mail on a pressing marriage question, to which I hope he reply in the affirmative!

I am in a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Apostolate, very small, but steadfast. It is always good to learn of our brothers and sisters of the great Byzantine tradition.

May 12, 2010, I happened to see your website in the
St. Louis Review, and when I got to this site, I was
absolutely amazed at the tremendous quality and quantity of this site. It far exceeds anything that I’ve seen anywhere
previously. You should spread the word around to other parishes to come and see what you have available here.

I absolutely love the new addition of music to this web page. The Byzantine Liturgy utilizes all of our senses, and hearing is a major part, so by you including music on this page reinforces that tradition. May God bless you and this church today and always.

I love the new homepage! Great work! I’m glad it’s so popular!

I wanted to let you know that there is a parish that serves Kansas City- St. Luke Byzantine Catholic Church- that is not on your list of churches. We are located in Sugar Creek, MO. We have started our own website also...you can visit it at; easterncatholicskc.blogspot.com/2009/10/st-luke-byzantine-catholic-church.html

If you could add us to your list of churches that would be awesome!

Glory to Jesus Christ!
