Good morning,
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent meal, service and evening you provided to us last night (we were the table of 6 by the front window). Everything was consistently excellent and we were glad we followed all of your suggestions.
I look forward to returning and have already begun telling all my friends about your fantastic restaurant.
Many thanks,
Brien

My friends and I discovered this gem of Ottawa cuisine - and we’ve been back since - and I plan on going again soon!
We love the cacik and the hoummus dip - the best we’ve ever had - it is heavenly!! We just need to have more home made pita - there are 6 of us going and they serve it with 6 pieces - we are hungry gals !
I adore the crispy potatoes and meat Kebad - forget the name - but it’s savoury, with a tomato base...and lovely rice, omg - we rave about the home made pita bread to everyone we know! Incredible!
I’ve had the rice pudding-like dessert and love it - with coconut there - so good - the baklava I tried it and it’s lovely too! The tea is lovely...tried the coffee...but that is an acquired taste!
Oh my - I think I need to go soon - I’m craving that crispy potatoes and meat dish ....mm mm mmm!
I love this place - the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing...not too fancy, not too casual...there was live music the time we were there....great touch!

This place is amazing!!!
I have literally taken everyone I know here! Its a great little place. Nice decor and really friendly service.
For appetizers I always get the Spinach borek and the Meze platter! Soooo good. And for dessert you must get baklava. Now there is baklava... and then there is Turkish baklava. Sooo delicious. Moist, sweet and nutty. Unlike lebanese baklava which is mor dry and very nutty.
For main’s ... the Pirzola (LAMB chops)! The LAMB chops are amazing. Hands down the best entree in the restaurant. But my recommendation would be anything with lamb in it. The turkish know how to do lamb right. |

In March of 2009, I believe, a group of carpooling friends decided to celebrate the end of the long OC Transpo strike at the Topkapi restaurant upon the recommendation of Hélène and Mike.
We had such a great time, excellent food and entertainment that we did not see the time go by. e spend four hours at the restaurant. This is the first time I stay so long at a restaurant.
The waitress, Tuba, was friendly. She was perfect.
