Saw you all when you toured for Chloe. I was a teen and just coming out-- your music was so liberating! My straight friends loved it too. Hope you all get back together again.

I want to thank you for your music and your site. I do wish you would reissue the remaining music even if it was just as downloads with a downloadable booklet. It is a shame that your music isn’t available. For instance, I was introduced to you by someone who gave me the reissued cd for my birthday this year. Pretty amazing for music that was originally released quite awhile ago. I also want to thank you for the links on your site. I have been enjoying the queermusicheritage.com site very much.

Long time listener first time caller. I first heard "I spent my last ten dollars" on the radio, new years eve 2001 on a beach somewhere in Australia. I heard the chorus and thought are they singing what I think their singing? I’ve been a big fan ever since!

How long does it take a wee gnat to swallow?
That’s precisely how long our existence is. God bless.

Hey Gretchen! Wow, just found this site and i’m trippin’. Listening to the Sweet Jane video I felt like Jodie Foster in "Contact" when she heads through the link to another world but seems to not have left at all. I mean I was TRANSPORTED girl. Suddenly it was Austin, mid to late 80’s again. I don’t know if you remember me, but I loved you gals and played impromptu roadie passing out song sheets, getting drinks from the bar, and toting equipment after the show (never your guitar though, you were very possessive about that, and probably a good principle, too even though I was harmless!) We’ve partied together and I also worked with Kathy Korniloff in the film industry. How the hell is she nowadays? Tell her hi for me. Last I saw her, was in L.A. Sure wish I could have seen the reunion in Oct.2009, but I am disabled now, living north of San Francisco. Ever play out here? It was so good to feel out and proud at your concerts when I was just figuring out my place in the queer world (and in the world in general.) Mid 20’s are such a fabulous time in life with our whole world ahead of us. 2 Nice Girls helped make it a better place. Blessed be, long life and happiness! ~ Kim Fusch

OK, is it just me or is there some delicious irony in the penis enlargement add on this website?
You want a memory - Gretchen singing "Carry On My Wayward Son" at Liberty Lunch, with somebody (who?) playing the lead riff on a mandolin. "Masquerading as a man with a reason,
My charade is the event of the season." Yes, it was. Truly one of the great moments in rock and roll. |
