Hey Trent!
Have been meaing to check out your site for a while now after meeting in Tbilisi.
Loving the blog, especially the latest happenings in Kanpur.
Hope all goes well for your next leg up into the Himalayas and you didn’t get hit by that wild Indian weather at the moment.

Hi There
We met on the "Baku Bulvar" - hope all is going/went well during your time in Azerbaijan.
PS; From Kathmandu to Lhasa will be a great trip (I did it by 4-wheel drive last year, travelling in the other direction) but you have a lot of uphill pedalling in front of you. I passed a crazy Englishman on a unicyclist doing the journey. It will definatly be worth the detour to Everest Base Camp (North) - 1 day each way but you may not get the opportunity again.
Have a good journey.
Take care

Hi Nicole,
Remember me from physio at Qld Health. I’ve been following your progress with much interest. I’m so glad you at Trent are sharing such wonderful photos and experiences with us. It’s like being there without the hasle of travel. Keep up the good work, and more importantly keep well.

Hi Trent,
Not sure if you can remember me, I’m a partner of your uncle Garry. We met once at your grandma’s frontyard in Geelong.
Anyway, as I’m from Bosnia, I was really looking forward to reading your reports from the Balkans and just today I read about your encounter with Luka in Montenegro. It made me laugh a lot as I can imagine him playing gusle (the instrument) to you for hours. Very proud people, the Montenegrins!
I hope you enjoy Macedonia, people there used to be very hospitable and their folk music was the best in all of former Yugoslavia. I hope you come across some friendly musicians there too (their repertoire should be much more enjoable than Luka’s). All the best to your and Nic and we’ll be reading your reports regularly.

Hello!!!!!
looks like are you having a blast, wishing I was out there with you, not sitting here at my desk dreaming about it. Oh well, I feel better driving my 4.2L diesel patrol to work knowing that you are out there making no emmisions. Just wanted to say thanks for relieving me of the guilt!!! |
