Another sad piece of news Dick really was a one off special character someone who I always looked up to at Abbots, with all the recent passing of great members and friends I realise how lucky we are to have had the pleasure of so many unique people,so when I remember our times spent together I do so with a heavy heart, but also a smile on my face, thanks for the good times Dick RIP Barry, Lisa, & family

My thoughts are with the Dennis’s family at such a difficult time, a great ambassador for rugby & Old Abbotstonians.
God Bless my friend you will be missed.

Karen has also asked if Denis’s friends from Old Abbots could wear the club badge in some form - tie, jumper or polo shirt. Thanks

All,

Denis’ funeral will be next Monday 26th April, 12;30pm at Breakspear Crematorium, Breakspear Road, HA4 7SJ and then at the club afterwards.

The family have requested that instead of flowers anyone wishing to is asked to make a contribution to the Sue Ryder Hospice where Denis spent his last days;

Please pass this on as appropriate.
