Hi Meg, I received a letter form you back in the 90s when you were working in the UU GLBT office in DC. I spoke to then CLF Minsiste Scott Alexander and he told me he would forward my name and address to you and you sent me a lot of good information about challenging Fundamentalism’s Homophobia.
Anyway, Happy to have you as our Senior Minister Welcome and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas on so many issues! |

| Thanks to everyone for the kind words of welcome. I wake up each morning feeling as if I’ve won the lottery. Please stay in touch! and let me know what life looks like from your corner of the very large CLF community! |

Meg,
I’m so pleased you are our minister. I met you shortly after I found UU - I was a member of UU Annapolis for about 15 years. I’m now in very small congregation (Outer Banks). I am a member of a CLF covenant group which has created a sacred safe place.
Blessings,
Nancy

Meg,
Way back when your selection was first announced there was a link to a sermon you had given. As I read it I knew the search committee had done well..
thank you for accepting |

Hey Meg--
Best Wishes for a happy ministry with CLF. Since I’ve become an interim (in Keene, NH beginning 9/1)and not a member of any other UU Church, I’m honored to call you my minister. Paul sends his congratulations, as well. Blessings, Judy |

Welcome, Meg. You have a large and lively church here with lotsa and lotsa fascinating people, some of which have only the CLF, and some of which have the CLF in addition to a brick-n-mortar / concrete-n-glass / wood-n-glass church.
I used to belong to the UU of Arlington, VA, where I met you when I was Chair of the Interweave Convo in 2001. I left the UUCA for hiking many Sundays of the year, and came to the CLF, also a fine place to be.
We look forward to having you with us. |

Welcome to CLF.
My husband and I became interested in organized liberal religion in the early sixties after seeing the ad "Are you a Unitarian without knowing it? Our 8 year old daughter came home from school asking "Am I a Methodist, and Episcopalian or what?"
So - we discovered CLF, and took advantage of the fine material for the religious education of our children. Bob and I used CLF literature to plan memorial services, and when Bob died in 2009, the friendly local Episcopal priest enabled us to hold such a service in the parish church. Jane Rzepka wrote that the service had "a good UU feel." These are just a few of the ways that CLF has enriched my life |
