Three Australian guys came to stay at the Garden Lodge for a Wales v Australia rugby game. We only stayed one night with Wayne & Del but would have happily stayed more as they are so friendly and helpful. There is a bus straight outside their doorstep which takes you in and out of central cardiff. Great and cheap stay, and would definitely stay again. Thanks Wayne and Del.

My fiancee and I stayed at the brook lodge for 6 weeks temporarily while preparing to go travelling, it was absolutely perfect  Wayne and Del are just the nicest people, so welcoming and friendly. The accomodation is excellent and much bigger than it looks in the pictures, really comfortable and a lovely place to be when you want to chill out. Nothing was ever any trouble and if we needed anything (not that we did as everything was great!) we would not have hesitated to ask as Wayne and Del are so approachable and make you feel really comfotable whilst still giving you total privacy. Lovely place, lovely couple and we will definately be staying again when we come back to visit Wales! Hannah & Daf x |

Hi all. My friend Rayhaan and I stayed at the Garden Lodge temporarily for 10 days whilst we looked for a more semi-permanent place in Cardiff. We really enjoyed our 10 days stay there. Wayne and Del are an absolutely brilliant, kind and friendly couple.
The actual accommodation is actually way better than what it looks like in the photos; it is very very clean and is designed to a very high standard, I was surprised to be honest. Also, there is free broadband access on site if needed, we surely needed it very much lol.
Looking for a temporary accommodation, this place surely is it, and it costs only a fraction of what you’d pay at a similar standard hotel! |

| hi stopped at brook garden lodge when working in cardiff ,really fantastic accommodation ,home from home just what u need after a day a work,wayne and del are a great couple and made me feel very welcome as well as giving all the priversy i could have asked for,would not hesitate to give wayne a ring if i was in the cardiff area again,1st class alround |

| I stayed at Wayne’s lodge for around six months this year whilst working at Aberthaw Power Station. It was the first time that I had worked away for any considerable length of time. What a great introduction! Wayne, Del and the quality of the accommodation made it very easy for me during this time ,which to be truthful, I was dreading. Complete privacy, yet with the reassuring knowledge that Wayne and Del were always on hand if something was needed. Not that it ever was because everything you could want had already been thought of. The cleanliness and decor of the unlikely accommodation was superb and of great surprise when I first walked through the door. In no time at all, it was made to feel like home. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who enjoys privacy and home comforts. I would not hesitate for a second to return to the lodge in the future and find difficulty in finding faults. |
