Dear Jeff,

I just found this blog. I was married to CHarles Huff at the time of the Jonesboro massacre. Mr. Huff was never a Green Beret. He was with the 193rd as a Sgt. Nothing more. He helped put the bodies in the caskets. Thats all. I have tried for years to get someone to realize that Mr. Huff was lying. He now lives in Timbo, Ar. HIs phone number is under Chuck Huff. He has told everyone in Mountain View that he is a big Vietnam hero. (He was never in Vietnam, either). Thank you so much for bring his lies into the open.

Sincerely,

Roberta J. Frost
(the EX Mrs. CHarles Huff)

Very interesting. I remember the massacre very well. Hope you get it published. Sounds like good reading material.

Jeff, Thank you so much for all the information on this tragedy. I it a great pleasure to be one of the fortunate ones to be able to read your story. I am blessed to not have had family or friends that were there, but this must be told. We are humans and humans tend to forget after a period of time when they are not directly affected by a particular situation such as Jonestown. But do remember it happening and I do wish to share with my children and grandchildren of this horrible time.......again thanks for inviting me to your site........Always, Betty

Hooray for you! I’ll be the first in line to get this book! That story has haunted me for years - your story needs to be told, it could help so many people heal/and or close a horrid chapter in their life. This important part of our history needs to be retold, it’s been kept under the rug too long! Best of luck to you.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for posting the information about cults on your blog and good luck on your book. I wrote about my experience in a Bible-based cult. Writing the book was almost as difficult as leaving the cult!

Peace,
Wendy

Jeff,
All the best with this venture. I have read the original and look forward to owning and reading the revision. This was a major event that took place close to home and I think it very important that the story is told.
Regards
Gareth

First of all, let me say Thank You. From the meek one who lost their lives is till fresh as yesterday. Just waking from a bad dream and hears that their was only 400 counts.
I knew my best Friend; Jackie Rochelle and her young daughter
was gone and along with them and her sister and young kids, plus one baby born at thed compound. A blessing for them in their paradise and me to walk the rest of my day trying to still say WHY? Questions not answers.
