So nice to see a collection with out mists and orbs. And what a great collection it is! A few actually made the hair on my arms stand up. Thanks so much for the fright, now I doubt I’ll be able to sleep tonight!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the ghost me and my mate saw was besides the house I just wrote about, it was a bolt of white light which disappeared at the top of the valley. It spooked us both and we thought it might have been the cannibals victim rather than anything else because it almost appeared to be a woman.
another time when i’ve been through the area alone i’ve also seen black-hooded figures which i’m pretty sure must be of the former priests.
the whole area is really quite eerie, it often has thick blankets of fog or mist and its a very "lonely" place, its very close to town and yet no one really likes going through there.
sorry i’ve turned this into a bit of a ghost stories guest book, but that might not be such a bad idea for this site.

Great site.
me and my mate once saw a ghost in a area which is very haunted in this part of england.
the place is called "priesty fields" and its quite a deep valley with old hollows and sunken lanes crossing it. Anyway it used to be a way priests took between 2 local churches around here, and its also infamous as being the site of a canibal murder. The canibal is said to have been a farm worker who came across a woman who taunted him and stole his pocket knife, and in rage he killed her. He then butchered her body and took it to be cooked but he was detected (obviously) and was hanged at the gallows further along the trails, overlooking the fields.
and finally there’s a more recent one where a young boy living in a (now abandoned) house on the edge of the fields is said to have met his death by drowning in the stream during heavy rains, he was said to have been playing in it whilst his gran who was looking after him slept in tin house. This is said to have happened in the 60s according to people I know.

Nice site! Well done!
Good to see you keeping the Kiwi spirit alive, and to see old and new pix.
I’m old, so cool to see fresh stuff whilst leaving the bollocks out. Orbs, shmorbs.
Do you get many submissions from NZ?
