I will never forget the warmth Mary showed on the JA fanfic boards. What a loss to the fandom and to the world in general. Generosity and kindness like hers are so very necessary.

Your feedback on stories contained so much good will and support; I will miss them greatly.

It is always so sad to lose a member of our JA community.
I pray for her l and hope that she gets to meet Jane Austen in Heaven. Can you not guess how happy that would be for her. |

I was so sad to hear of Mary’s passing! I never knew her real name, but so looked forward to her comments on my stories, just seeing her "Dandiefan" name made me smile. Her words were always encouraging and happy, and I felt so good after reading anything she had to say. I pray that she has found peace.

Mary, always was warm and encouraging. I distinctly remember her comments during Shelby’s story, Half Such a Sum. Her and Caitlin were always wanting more Sir Toby. They always put a smile on my face.
She will be missed.

Mary’s signature line "When God created Dandie Dinmont Terriers, He was just showing off!" always made me smile. She was so proud of her beloved companion and I am glad she shared that will us.
Mary was so supportive of the JAFF community, she will be missed by all.
My thoughts go out to all her family and friends. May she rest in peace. |

Every time she left a comment on my story I always thought what a nice and kind person she had to be... So sad that such people are ever gone...

| Mary used to read my stories and we use to have nice conversations on line. However I shall miss her, I know that she will be soon recovered when the Lord calls out those who lie in their tombs. I pray for that day. |
