Is it possible to successfully grow fuchsias in the top end?
I am on Groote Eylandt, and would need to import from elsewhere - which grower would you recommend with access via Darwin or Cairns?

Hi, I am a silver surfer as well as a Fuchsia lover and grower.I live in Manchester,England and am a member of the Salford & Bolton Fuchsia Society. We have a website that we think is great and hope that you will have a look at it.(www.salfordboltonfuchsiasociety.co.uk).
We wish all Fuchsia growers in Australia the very best of growing for 2008 and may all your cuttings take root.

Hi there, i have moved out to Queensland from the UK. I used to grow fuchsia magellanica Riccartonii in England, but i cannot find anyone here in australia who stocks this variety. Does anyone know of a nursery who stocks it, and are there any any import restrictions on importing seeds? Thanks. Roland.

Hi there,
I do visit and enjoy your great site from time to time but today it’s not for browsing but to get some advice from the best source available.
I live in NE Victoria (very hot days and frosty nights). I have (more or less unsuccessfully) tried to grow fuchias for many years. Even placing them on the East side protected from any hot sun is not good enough. Hence I have decided to establish a purpose built fuchsia enclosure complete with climate control. Could you help me by telling me exactly what the perfect conditions would be, eg humidity, temp., amount of light, air velocity etc.

I’d be delighted to here from you. Thank you

Peter Moeller
