| Re the section on flooding. I firmly believe you need to tell the story of what actually happened i.e. That no major damage was done to any houses only two to my knowedge water actually got inside. The fact that the water had all drained away by about 8-00am the next morning is not shown.That is why I gave you some photos from the following morning. The main reason the village got flooded was because of poor drainage. Think the artical doesn’t help anyone trying to sell their house in the area. |

The content on your site is fantastic and very well researched. I am currently looking for some information myself on the history of Reckitt’s Recreation Area and wondered if you could point me in the right direction. It is for use on www.ra-ra.co.uk which is the website for the recently formed Reckitts Area Residents Association.

I lived at 21 beech avenue for 5 years, 2002 - 2007. it was the finest house i have ever lived in and renovated! i now live in Australia with my Ozzie wife and it’s nice to see some pictures of the village on these warm and home sick nights. good luck and god bless to everyone who lives in the village and reads my message. i will make this a regular webpage visit. brannon xxx |
