Hi Bill,
I found your site a year or so ago and have it a huge help and interest. I play standard banjo but just the basic chords. Have wanted to learn to play like you do but just havent found anyone to teach me and most items on the internet are for 5 string banjo players. I check regularily to see if you have put Lesson 3 on yet... But to no avail. Do you have any other video lessons so that I can get past what I know and play some songs like you? Love the site.

I AM TEACHING MYSELF PLECTRUM BANJO. (I ALSO BOUGHT DAVE FRY’S ULTIMATE SET/CD, BUDDY WACHTER TAPES)
I AM A "SAX PLAYER TURNED PLECTRUM" (MY NAME ON THE YAHOO GROUPS ), AND FIRST WANTED TO PLAY WHEN I SAW SCOTTY PLUMMER WITH LIBERACE, AND GOT HIS ALBUM WHICH WAS A LONG, LONG TIME AGO.
I HAD A FRIEND WHO USED TO GET PAT TERRY JR’S, BANJO SOCIETY MAGAZINE ( I STILL HAVE SOME) AND LET ME READ/HAVE THEM. NOW WE HAVE THE WEB, AND
THANK GOODNESS FOR YOUTUBE! I REALLY ENJOY THE BANJO PLAYERS VIDEO THAT HAS BEEN UPLOADED (ESPECIALLY SEAN MOYSES, AND KEN AOKI).

I also play Banjo. at the moment Im looking for a good semi pro tenor to try out, after watching a Buddy wachter DVD.

I just want to say Hello, and I have enjoyed your site. I am 75, and just starting to play the Tenor Banjo. I do play some Mandolin (self-taught) and Yesterday I was at a Fair and talked to a 3 men grout. Needless to say I conversed with the tenor banjo plaYER. nOW i HAVE TO LEARN TO PLAY IT. tHANKS FOR THE INFORMATION,

Certainly enjoy your web site and listening to some of your recordings. Maybe if I live another lifetime and start playing banjo when I’m ten I might be able to play just abit like you. I’m not hopeful though.
