Butch, I just happened onto your Newsletter when I was looking for information on Ben Garnand. He was my daughter’s great grandfather. He lived in Nashville Tennessee at one time when his daughter, Margaret, was born. I love your website. Thanks for all the information.

I have really enjoyed your website...takes me back a few years.
My mother was Lillian Avis Oxford/sister to Iley Oxford & Thomas Jefferson Oxford of Ardmore, Ok.
I spent a lot of summers visiting my cousin there 40’s/50/early 60’s..Really great times in and around Ardmore; especially the Lake.

Hello, Do you have any idea where Priddy’s Grill was located in OKC? It was a prefabracated building made by Valentine diners. Thanks, -Tom

Had a great uncle who moved here from Arkansas about the turn of the century and built Bass Hardware Store. I am told that it was lost during the great explosion and fire. All we have left of it is part of a yard stick with the name of the store Still clearly visible. We do love your web page and its associated history. Sam and Joy Bass

My Grandfather was John Williamson, his wife was Susie. Just a story I recall hearing as a small child, so glad to find an account of the ordeal. Last recall hearing the story at about the age of eleven. Your web site is great.
