My father who passed away 7 years ago served in the CBI campaign. He never talked much about it. My sister recently began cleaning out some old boxes of his and found a III Squadron banner, a 21st Field Hospital Napkin type banner and something that looks like a table napkin with a dragon embroidered on it. The III squadron banner is silk and embroidered with a dragon (beautiful). The 21st Field Hospital napkin is embroidered with a donald duck like character in battle gear. There were also two Japanese flag type cloths with kanji writing on them. If any one has any information about these items and the 21st Field Hospital in Burma in WWII I would appreciate hearing from you. If there is a proper place to send mementoes of this type please advise.
Thank you.

My father, Dominick A. Cassandra served in the 885th HAM in Burma from 20Feb, 1945 to late August, 1945. He didn’t speak much about it during his life, so not really sure what they were doing over there during that time. Would love any info on that particular company during that time frame, as to what they were involved in, etc. Thanks.

My Dad was a driver on the road and had many pictures that he used to show. He passed away three years ago but I am trying to tell his stories to his great grandchildren. My jungle time was in a different war and we used to swap stories on the heat. Bless you all.

My father Robert J. Pounds served in the CBI theatre flying cargo over the Hump. While his memories are fading with the years, I still remember the stories and I salute all of the young men who risked all in the name of freedom for all people.

First..Thank you to all CBI Veterans for your service to our country. We owe so much for your contributions to our WWII victory. I’m looking to see if anyone may have some memories, stories, photos or any information about my Father William(Bill)J. Phelps. my Dad served as a Tiger in the CBI theater in 1944-45 and was a bombardier. He pasted away in 1970. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Larry H. Phelps
