Hi, thanks for sending me the information re link to your great website.

I am a Heneker (Henniker) who were from Westwell and Hothfield, Kent. Visited in 2008 from Australia. Westwell is so beautiful. I don’t know at this stage if there are any links to the Vaughan family. However, I would like to keep in touch. The Heneker family migrated to South Australia in 1839 (3 years after the settlement of the colony of South Austalia)

Cheers
Vicki Lovell (nee Heneker)

Fantastic resource - my father was Reginald Vaughan, born 1916 in Canterbury, died 1997 in Southampton. His mother was Annie Olive Vaughan - it’s believed that he was the result of an incestuous fling with her own father, John. I knew absolutely nothing about my Vaughan heritage until after the death of my father as he always refused point-blank to speak of it - everything I’ve found out has been since 1997. I have a few group photo’s from 1909 and 1922 of this branch of the Vaughan’s...

Greetings from California! I don’t believe that my VAUGHAN name line is from Kent in as much as my line in the US goes thru John VAUGHAN in Boston circa 1634. Regardless, congratulations on your website and group. I wish you well and much success tracing our common bond, the great family name, VAUGHAN. I have some authentic 12th-16th century armorial insignia from Llwydiarth that may be of some interest. Look in my Photo Gallery under VAUGHAN Insignia. Cheers, for the Shandy is on me. Ralph
