greetings Michael. My very first concert was the Billion Dollar Babies tour in New Olreans back in ’73 or ’74. I didn’t know at the time who the opening band The Phloresant Leech and Eddie" were. My second concert was Frank Zappa’s Apostrophe in July ’74. It was later that I learned the connection between Cooper and Zappa and Flo and Eddie and Zappa...
I lost interest in Cooper after the original band broke up. I still don’t know the story behind it but I knew that it was your writing that I liked so without you I didn’t care about AC.
Good luck in life and know that I still enjoy listenig to the old stuff....... |

I saw Alice at the MGM Grand/Foxwoods on Sept. 26,2009.
I had great seats (9 rows back, left side.). Had a great time.
The last time was in 1973 at the Providence Civic Center, I was way back from the stage then.I wish that the original
lineup was still together (RIP Glenn) |

| Hi Michael, Bill S. here, Craigs friend in Houston. Remember, we went to Taco Bell after the Kip Winger book signing. Do you have a facebook account ? Just heard about Brian Nelson, so sad. Hope all is well with you. Look me up next time you are in Houston. Best wishes, my good friend... |

| I lived in Albuquerque summer of 1967 and saw you guys as the Nazz/Spiders at a place on old Rt. 66/Tierjas Canyon called Carnaby 66.I lived next door and helped clean the place. If I recall,Glen Buxton played an orange Gretsch Tennessean?Back then, most of the band’s show was cover versions...Yardbirds "Happenings Ten Years Time Ago",but you were starting to do Elected. My vote for one of the all time best rock songs; Under My Wheels. The Glen Buxton solo, then it changes key and kicks into overdrive. |

| I finished your book No More Mr. Nice Guy and I just wanted to say that although I didn’t throw it I’m sorry bout the toledo firecracker incident, pissed me off to cause i’d waited months to FINALLY see you guys and after TWO songs you were gone. Anyways, always felt like you guys,ie the band, got a raw deal after Alice went solo, so it was nice to read that the old band remained friends. I still have my cassette of Battle Axe and you guys should have been bigger.Good luck with all your future projects and thanks for the music! tj |
