do not think there is ONE camp of thought when it comes to the ’metis’ of Labrador.
i am not the only one who sees the baglicking compromise of money-queue and ’ASSOCIATES’...

ROOT OUT THE NEWFY WANNABEES...

to believe that Metis rights can be represented by colon-ial baglickers is STUPID...simply put, just stupid.

several years of baglicking has gotten our People NOWHERE...other than to be a glorified program/service delivery mechanism for the colon-ial ’gov’t.’...like a colon-ial personell officer might do...

i think the same can be said of ’native’ housing.

In case you have not heard,Violet Brown, strong Labrador Metis LEADER is in the hospital.

Violet stood up for the rights of LABRADORIAN Aboriginal People.

when the colon-ial newfies `law` was about to put her in jail for HAVING THE GUTS TO BELIEVE IN OUR INHERENT ABORIGINAL RIGHTS...
where were you?

which side were you on?

where do you stand now?

she is and always will be a DIGNIFIED LABRADORIAN NATIVE WOMAN...(not an `nfldr and labbadarian`!) `

to you who would be leaders FOR our People...i challenge you to remember her as a stellar example of just what L.M.A. was intended to be...
(it surely was not intended to become this pared down compromise of mssrs. money-queue and blarney.i think we all know the real names of those compromised baglickers...)

so...take time to think of one of our finest examples today...Violet Brown.
if you pray,do it today.

A toilet bowl is made purpose for the ass to sit on and shit on
but as long as I have a pulse and a breath and a human nature all 5 ft 5 inches of me has no ambition and no longing and no desire to be a toilet bowl for the ass of the fellow Labradorian to sit on and shit on. An anxious and impatient pace maker and driver was no good for my ancestors or their dogs so an anxious and impatient pace maker and driver is no good for my heart either.

Metis;
Ideally, the goals of the president and membership are the one and the same, we all know this not to be true. There will always be a distance between the wishes of the membership and the results that the president can produce.
I will separate this discussion from personalties and issues wherein difference of opinion cause discord.
This leaves the performance of the administration as the barometer of achievement.
When motives of the administration particularly those of the president raises questions, especially if they are not in line with the goals of the organization then it is the responsibility of the membership to remedy the situation.
There may be rules and regulations, articles of association, and laws under which a housekeeping proceedure may correct the situation satisfactorily.
Shud this persist, then motion can be entertained at a general meeting to handle similar situations or a movement to vote out the sitting executive member in an election.
Of course, this may be strictly a ’perceived’ motive, and a simple comunication may fix everything. The member who is questioning this has a responsibility to find the truth of his own convictions, the president has a responsibility to inform his membership of all his actions so they are satisfied that no hanky panky is going on.
However it pans out, all members should engage themselves in the running of the organization, ask questions, become knowledgeable, demand the best from the administration but give them your support as well.

Is that cause the newfoundlanders already made a slop bucket out of you?

I don’t see a thing wrong with another Labradorian molding and shaping a piece of lifeless clay into a vessel for their own purpose to use and take for granted every day but as long as I have a pulse and a breath, all 5 ft. 5 inches of me prefers to be a human being as opposed to a vessel for another Labradorian to use and take for granted every day.

Mac,here is a quote for you.The moment there is suspicion about a presidents motives, everything he does becomes tainted. What do you think Mac? Thanks.
