Really liked the Nick Klein character in The Bill. Have missed you,Rene since you left The Bill. Have just watched a Silent Witness episode in which you played and Australian. Sounded odd to see your lips move and a pretty good Aussie accent come out instead of the Cockney twang I’m used to! BTW, I AM an Aussie, and thought it was a pretty fair attempt!
Good luck with all your acting endeavours. Will keep my eyes peeled to see you in any other British TV shows.

I went to Italia Conti with René back in the late 80’s. He is a sound fella and i am so glad he made it, he so deserves it and we all loved him at Conti’s. We laughed and cried together as a team and the girls adored him. Well done René and good Luck for the future.

| my mum saw him in costa coffee in ilford, and asked him for an autograph seen as i am a huge ’Bill’ fan. He then sent two signed autographs to my address. An awesome fella... Good luck to him. |

| I saw Rene at my local East London Coffee Anonymous meeting recently. He shared his recent nosedive into serious coffee addiction recently, but assures us he will keep out of the Starbucks in future.. ;-)) |
