I attended Milltown church recently for your family harvest service.I received a great welcome and the service which followed was full of praise and singing with lots of congregational involvement.Most refreshing.The number of children there was a credit to your parish youth groups and Sunday schools.Also the harvest supper was delicious.  |

Enjoyed my visit to the Milltown Church site. I noted that there is an Albert Fleming listed on the 2nd world war list (tablet on the wall). Also read somewhere that there was a John Fleming d.1953 buried there and the officiating Minister was a Rev Christopher Graham. I was wondering if any detail about him and/or other Flemings connected to the church in old parish records. Also if the headstone of his grave still stands I would be very grateful to see a photo of it, or details recorded if any. I am doing a one name project for Fleming (all spellings). Would be keen to know of any living Flemings in the area also for our Fleming DNA Project. You have a wonderful old church and the bell tower reminds me of the Flemish ones in Flanders...the original homeland for those of the surname of Fleming. Loved the pics of your church - just beautiful. Thanks for the opportunity to visit via the net.
