How long does it take a wee gnat to swallow?
That’s precisely how long our existence is. God bless.

| Hey Gretchen! Wow, just found this site and i’m trippin’. Listening to the Sweet Jane video I felt like Jodie Foster in "Contact" when she heads through the link to another world but seems to not have left at all. I mean I was TRANSPORTED girl. Suddenly it was Austin, mid to late 80’s again. I don’t know if you remember me, but I loved you gals and played impromptu roadie passing out song sheets, getting drinks from the bar, and toting equipment after the show (never your guitar though, you were very possessive about that, and probably a good principle, too even though I was harmless!) We’ve partied together and I also worked with Kathy Korniloff in the film industry. How the hell is she nowadays? Tell her hi for me. Last I saw her, was in L.A. Sure wish I could have seen the reunion in Oct.2009, but I am disabled now, living north of San Francisco. Ever play out here? It was so good to feel out and proud at your concerts when I was just figuring out my place in the queer world (and in the world in general.) Mid 20’s are such a fabulous time in life with our whole world ahead of us. 2 Nice Girls helped make it a better place. Blessed be, long life and happiness! ~ Kim Fusch |

OK, is it just me or is there some delicious irony in the penis enlargement add on this website?
You want a memory - Gretchen singing "Carry On My Wayward Son" at Liberty Lunch, with somebody (who?) playing the lead riff on a mandolin. "Masquerading as a man with a reason,
My charade is the event of the season." Yes, it was. Truly one of the great moments in rock and roll. |

| You girls rock!!! I’ve been looking for you for 15-16 years--in music stores and online. Can’t wait to hear you again after so many years! |

I love y’all... these were and are such great records. Glad to see you have a new record coming out Gretchen! You should mention Meg’s solo records somewhere here too. (Even after all these years I have a dumb ass straight boy crush on Meg...) |

Aarrgh! Why didn’t i hear about the re-issue sooner?
Hope it’s still available, because i have some people who might need copies for Christmas (one of whom - ME - definitely will be getting one...)
Speaking of anecdotes i first heard "Last $10" on WRFG, local Atlanta independent listener-supported station (89.3 FM, Atlanta) which i’m out of range of thses days, assuming it’s still on the air - and loved it.
A while later, WRFG announced that they were going to paly another Two Nice Girls song, which caused me to perk (not gonna say "prick" around here) up my ears, and they did.
"The Queer Song" - completely uncensored.
I guess that they figured that since their main coverage area included a lot of Atlanta’s gay enclaves (and about 32 people outside them - their signal was really crappy), they could get away with it.
Maybe so - but i never heard it again, even uncensored... |

Was looking for Sweet Jane (with Affection) on Rhapsody...googled you and found your site. I have a cherished LP of your first release - autographed by all of you at Inklings bookstore in Houston (where I worked as a newly-out lesbian) when y’all did an impromptu acoustic set there sometime in 1989 or 1990. So glad to see the re-issue CD.
Around the same time, my then-girlfriend and I were visiting with her sister and 3- or 4-year-old niece. We were sharing your music with her sister....specifically we wanted her to hear "I spent my last $10." The niece was in the other room playing.
Next day mom gets a call from daycare..."Ummm, yes, Ms. X, you need to come pick up your daughter." When she got there, the daycare people wanted to know where on earth the child had heard about birth control and beer, ’cause - you guessed it - she’d been singing that song at the top of her lungs in daycare. |

Don’t get mad, but as a teenager, my dad introduced me to your music and I loved it. All but forgot about you lovely ladies until this morning when for some reason "I spend my last $10" popped into my head. After 18 years, I still know all the words
So when is the reunion tour? |
