Hello. I had no idea our family name was a brand of watches. Cool!

Dear Sir - just bought a Le Cheminant Master Mariner off ebay, similar to No.45 in your collection. Is your watchmaker still working or has he retired? I may need to send it to him. Excellent site. All the best in 2010. Alex.

Hi Roy

I bought on a fair a stainless steel Master Mariner. Moeris is not mentioned on the dial but it looks the same. It has 41 jewels but I did not met he watch in your collection.

Hi Roy I think I sent you a couple of pictures of my Master Mariner 17 Jewel Black dial watch some time ago but lost your details. My watch has the two dials in black on a black dial whereas your website shows a model with the same black dial but two white dials. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to attach the pictures I have Best wishes Paul Sawyer

Hi Roy,

thank´s a lot for your tips.
For all visitors; don´t hesitate to ask roy for help.

Bernd

Hi, a great site.I have aLe Cheminant watch the case design does not appear on the site. The watch was purchased in 69/70 in Ipswich from the Buttermarket shop. The watch is a Master Mariner in s/s 25 jewel automatic movement number 502800 it has the same face as your FELSA 4007.Although the face of the watch is round it is set in a square s/s case. The underside of the case is polished steel but the top is brushed steel with polished lugs & sides. When the watch was purchased it did not come with a strap my father had to pay for that as an extra.I have been told this is rare design. I have a photograph of a Master Mariner 25 jewels purchased in Ipswich in 1962. It is an automatic with a quick date adjust facility and has a off white almost pearl face. Unfortunately I have misplaced the watch and am currently searching for it in a mass of memorabilia streatching over forty six years.
